Route passport · Choose by use case

Everyday cross-border access starts with the right route

YP stands for Your Passport. Think of a subscription as a passport to different routes: first identify the service you want to access, then choose a suitable region. The region tells you where traffic exits; the route type describes how the connection gets there. Looking at both is more useful than comparing names alone.

Reliable connections during peak hours

A page loading successfully doesn’t guarantee smooth streaming or uninterrupted file transfers. During peak hours, try the sites you actually use on your usual device and check for repeated buffering or interrupted downloads. VPNYP offers IEPL, relay, and direct routes so you can compare different paths under the same conditions. Keep a reliable everyday route and a backup region; that’s more practical than chasing the fastest result from a single test.

Streaming: check the content library region first

Finding a title in search results but not seeing a play option may be related to your account region, current exit location, or content licensing. A connected status in the client alone doesn’t confirm access. Before watching Netflix, Disney+, or another platform, check the target library, select a route for that region, then open the title to test it. If you see a region notice, close the existing playback page and reopen it to avoid interference from an old session. VPNYP routes provide cross-border connectivity; playback availability depends on each platform’s checks at the time.

Platform licensing, account eligibility, and network connectivity are separate factors. Ongoing access isn’t guaranteed.

AI tools: stick with a familiar exit region

When using AI tools such as ChatGPT, check more than whether the page loads: make sure you can sign in, submit prompts, and receive responses consistently. Frequently changing exit regions may trigger additional platform checks, so it can be helpful to keep using a tested route while working. VPNYP supports desktop and mobile devices, making it easy to switch between research, document editing, and conversations. Network access is separate from an AI platform’s account eligibility, regional policies, and subscription; a VPNYP plan doesn’t include paid access to those services.

If a platform displays a notice, first determine whether it’s an account issue or a network issue.

Quantum encryption

Connection protection and account security

VPNYP uses quantum encryption as a connection protection feature. In everyday use, take care with the addresses you visit and the permissions you grant to accounts; connection protection doesn’t make every action risk-free. Subscription links are account information. Use the details provided in the user panel when importing them into a client, and don’t share them in public chats or screenshots. Before lending a device to someone else, check that the client’s saved subscription details are protected. Good account management works alongside connection protection.

Unlimited devices

Use desktop and mobile devices together

There’s no limit on the number of devices connected at once, so you don’t need to free up slots when switching between a computer, tablet, and mobile device. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported; download a compatible client for each system and import your subscription. Keep an eye on your plan’s remaining data across devices—streaming, downloads, and background sync all count toward usage. Keeping subscriptions up to date on each device can also prevent one from using an outdated route.

30-day
money-back guarantee

Evaluate it in your usual setup

VPNYP offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. When evaluating a service, test the websites, streaming platforms, and work tools you use regularly in your everyday network environment instead of relying only on the description. To request a refund, submit a ticket through the user panel with your order details; see the Terms of Service for the applicable rules. Consider the price, your use cases, and the support process together to decide whether the subscription is right for long-term use.

Popular regions and route types

Choose a region based on the service you want to use, then compare route types. The Hong Kong and Singapore examples use IEPL routes, Japan and France use relay routes, and the United States uses a direct route. These are examples to help you choose—not a guarantee of ongoing access to any platform. Check the routes page and user panel for all available regions and current options.

Understanding route names

IEPL refers to a dedicated transmission path. A relay route connects to the destination exit through an intermediate node, while a direct route connects to the exit directly. These names explain the route structure, but they can’t predict how it will perform in your specific environment. Different paths in the same region may behave differently depending on your network and the time of day.

Rule out local factors first

If you experience similar slowdowns across all regions, check your local network, background downloads, and client connection status first. If only one site is affected, compare it with an alternative route. Change one factor at a time and keep the exact error message; it’s easier to find the cause than after switching routes repeatedly and relying on memory.

Route status reference

The status information below is loaded by the route component to help you browse route details. It doesn’t reflect your device’s actual end-to-end experience. Check the target service’s connection results to decide whether a route works for streaming or work.

After switching routes, reopen the target website or playback page before checking the result. Your browser may still be using an existing session, so a screen that doesn’t change right away doesn’t necessarily mean the switch failed.

Clients and subscription access

Sign in to get your subscription from the user panel. Client downloads are available for plans that are purchased and active. The links below take you to the panel; they don’t provide installers or public subscription links. For your first setup, follow the getting started guide—you don’t need to learn every route term first.

From account to connection

Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. In the panel, check your plan status, then go to Downloads to get a client and subscription for your device. After importing, refresh the route list, choose a region, and connect. Then visit the website you want to use. A connection status in the client is only one part of the verification process.

What to keep when switching devices

On another device, get your subscription from the same user panel. Don’t share the subscription address publicly as if it were an ordinary web link, or submit it to unfamiliar online tools. If you have connection issues, check common causes on the support page, then submit a panel ticket with your system, route name, and error details.

Monthly plans and data packs

Start with your data usage habits, then choose a plan. If you need cross-border access every day, compare monthly plans. If your usage is occasional or unpredictable, consider a data pack too. Every plan allows unlimited simultaneous devices; the main differences are price, data allowance, and billing method. You don’t need to calculate device slots separately.

Monthly data resets and plan upgrades

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check your current plan and billing details in the panel before upgrading; an upgrade isn’t a separate add-on data pack. Reviewing your usage—especially HD streaming, cloud sync, and large downloads—can help you decide whether to change plans next time.

Consider a data pack for occasional use

Data packs: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. If you only need access while traveling, for a short-term project, or for occasional research, compare packs based on your actual usage rather than choosing a larger tier just for its total capacity. Monthly plans and data packs use different billing methods; check your current availability in the panel.

Price is only a starting point. Consider whether the routes you use, device setup, and support process work for you too. VPNYP puts account details, plans, client downloads, and support tickets in one user panel, making it easier to check each step when something goes wrong. The subscription doesn’t include memberships for streaming or AI platforms. Check each platform’s rules to see whether your account is eligible.

Tips and setup notes

From understanding subscription links to checking your connection and choosing a plan based on your actual usage, these articles break down common points of confusion. Start with the one that addresses your current question; there’s no need to learn everything at once. For regional streaming access and troubleshooting, read the streaming guides.

Still deciding between a monthly plan and a data pack? Read How to Choose Between a Data Pack and a Monthly Plan. Track the combined usage across your devices and compare it with the plan’s data allowance; that’s often more useful than focusing only on the one-time payment. To assess route stability, consider both whether you can connect and how well the connection holds up over time.
